I was a student in Mr. E's class from 94-99. I just found out that he passed away and I feel so sad. I saw him a couple of months ago when visiting home from the military but didn't get a chance to speak. He was an awesome teacher. He will be missed

I had attended F.S. Tucker before but I am sad that Kurt Engrebetson had passed away last night :(

Hi Andy, wonderful post. Congrats on your acheivements :) I attended F.S. Tucker elementary school back in 1990-1992 and I joined the Chorus. I do not recall the teachers name, perhaps it was Kurt Engbretson? Not sure, but after leaving the school and moving to Miami Beach, I decided to persue music. Here I am 18 years later, a classical Flutist and living my dream. It was all thanks to my Chorus teacher in elementary school who taught me how to read music and play the recorder :) I wish I could remember his name, has Kurt Engbretson been teaching there for several years?
